another little girl
By cre
knees hit the floor
and a little girl
prays
please please god
just take me away
amidst
the clatter
and the crashing thuds
then silence, then footsteps
and there's no time to run
she tries to bar the door
even
though she'll lose
and her head will hit the wall
when he smashes
into the room
she'll crawl for the closet
but that will make
it worse
he just looms out of the darkness
and reaches in and
grabs her
and then it's just dark
and hours have died
away
and her body hurts
and she wonders why she prayed
there's blood
and she's seen too much of life
and even though
there's pain
she doesn't want to cry
she whispers
to
where ever god may be
i hate you now
for never hearing me
and tears fall
and puddle under her head
and she closes
her eyes and wants
to only wake up dead
but she will see another
day
in her torn-up little world
it's just another life
of another little girl.

Truly Sad Work, Although very straightforward. I like it's sing-along type feel but mixed with an incredible sadness to it. Truly a masterpiece Cre

Why is it that some people live this, others cry for and, and some never even admit it exists at all? I commend you for your brutal honesty and tender writing.

this was very sad and visual. the poor little girl that was crying her eyes out in my head brought up similar, gloomy emotions. delicate write. :)

DOES stand out for the class with which you told it. A thing so delicate is often hard to subjugate to technique and style….yet you did. That is *as I was told by a teacher* true writing talent. Very, very well told. Flows wonderfully and is nothing less

it's like a memory that doesn't quite come when you think of it... barely there... slips away when you try to corner it... ::sighs:: things like this should never be.

I agree with Justin, beautiful flow, haunting. It literally made me shake when I read it, because it is true, yet it is fantasy. Another very very good write.
