Remember Me This Way.

By Aleas

Heaven's mark curved the spine of a sinner
Ardent nights shed it's tear for our setting moon
Laying to rest as a listless lover
Within each other's fervent swoon
As you look to the clouds for an answer
And I would you
Watching the heat of our prayers escape breath and dissolve into the sky
On broken halo, angel wings
Tell me how it's going to be
When the present is in the past
You never said to me
That nothing never lasts
As you broke me down
With every stolen glance

Je ne peux pas l'aider, et je suis désolé.

Where I curve, you bend
Where my colors end, you begin
There is no other stitch that can clothe me
Than the seams of your skin
Life leaf dons green
Like sky dons blue
I wear you, worn out, worn in

Torn out, within this
Flight I have rendered; this
Love I have tendered; this
Wanton surrender; To
Alyssum most wintered
And with her
I never felt so cold
As when the whispers of my heart
Though falling apart
Were not within earshot
Or sightline
Of the eyes of my angel
The eyes of eternity
Forever chaste delivers
In all it's gentle tendency

Beckoning…

Relentless…ravenous…ravages
The pardoner of such indiscretion
To keep all of your blessings
Idle tickets to Heaven
A love without description
Please.
Undo these stitches
To visual symptoms
Residual ease
And caste me off to slipstream seas
To let this go...
On broken halo, angel wings
Tell me how it's going to be
When the present exhales destiny
So that I'll know...

...When all is said and done
Will you remember me as I am…
Or who I was?

Ange déchu, ma fleur du ciel
Je suis la cicatrice sur le visage de la belle
Alors, amant, sommeil à jamais

And remember me this way.

Congratulations you two on your win. I thought Mab and I really had ourselves something potent and lethal until I saw what we were up against. Breath taking work that harnessed a deserved win.
