Gods & Goddesses

By Aurora_Light

God has come to visit me,
I've seen God in my dreams.
I'm not sure what God was,
A man, a woman, a child, a beast.
I do know though that God was there,
In what ever form the spirit took.
For all Gods and Goddesses,
In this world are one in the same.
For are they not all the True Light,
To which we a people try to gain!
True Light, True Spirit, True Being up above,
That's what God is to me,
That's my God above.

I wrote this while sitting in a theology class, 3 hours earlier I was w/ a few wicans talking about thier belifes.
This poem was based on things from both teachings.

a christian spiritualist once said to me that god comes to all of us in a different way, I told her that if that is true than god would come to each in a way that they could expect him or her(RA, Jesus, Alah, Mother Nature what have you)

Yes we allmost all pay tribute, to the same thing. I loved it you know how to find an angle on a topic, and then attack it. Great.

God is a riddle; so that is how we must speak of Him/Her. Well done.
