What has love done to me? reworked!

By Circe Avalon

I want to cry
to cry an ocean of tears
To lay in that well of despair that I made with my own anger
and overwhelmed angst
If I float long enough in this tide pool of despair, I may wish way all forgiveness and recollection, and be absolved by chaos
I could become the water
And I could beat into the shore
bring wave upon wave onto this unloving land
beat it with the torrential down pour
Shatter my body against it
until the earth resembles my heart
Beaten and Desolate
No longer inhabitable by any emotion except anger

Crushing... powerful words, festering...moving. Dark beauty. Rework it as you will but this is a great start.

not 'sad and tired', just a common feeling for a lot of people. nice use of the word 'torrential' i love that word. so anyhow, a common theme, but an original write. well done.
