speakershine. [ten years too late]

By Six-Out

humming reggae beats-like backdropped
star.spun songs of misgiving.
drinking my way to freedom- 40 ounces at a time.
I'm sure I'm not alone. and we're simply sentient.
so.fucking.magnificent.

en un sentido somos invencibles
pisarme como el agua -aclamaciones
a el que consiguió lejos

malos pescados en una placa de corazones quebrados
so close to perfect. tonight we'll dance.
to serenades screamed in native-syllables.
these voices take me to times I've longed to forget.
the past is vicious.
and I'm far too vulnerable.

No sé si incluso deseo a.

my eyes are almost as sore as my hands.
and my heart is almost as broken as my wrists.
caressing harmonies with something almost as sublime.
and we're going the wrong way on the right path.

pero, las estrellas no lloran más
han encontrado su brillo caído

it's blasting in my stereo.

I always come back to re-read this. The intertwining of language, the sense of longing and misplaced hope... amazing.

Sublime was awesome Brian... but his drug addiction wasn't. :( All the great ones seem to be fighting undefeatable demons, it's a shame really.

I think love is a Universal language and this hun, needs no translation. For the love you give to this piece is sparkling on it's own. Bravo! Julia~

I think on all the good times I've spent, listening to brad, eric and buds (and luie's, among others) contribution to music and it brings a tear to my eye.

Gone, ten years. I think Brad would have cringed at the world we're living in. Oh well. The music goes unchanged even if the good word goes unspoken. Six, you are smooth fire, daddy-o. Loved it. Faving it.

And, yeah. I did think the spanish read like silk. Beautiful. But I didn't get a lick besides a few words. Any chance you can send a translation my way, dog? If not, i'll work it out. Once again, man. Loved it.
