To The Nightingale
By Six-Out
a flutter of words
like wings in the night
take flight
as the eloquence drips
from your pen - like a knife
that can pierce the heart
of the unbreakable
-
your words - have carried me
at times.to another place
inside of you
the wonderland of your mind
with a voice softer than silk
on the worst of days
can make me feel
a.maz-ing
smooth brilliance/with
a touch of charm
is all that can be said
to touch the tip
of your excellence
these words- my thoughts
are all I can offer
in return for what you've given
with your tender touch
know that while this ends
what it means, never will
and although you may not need it
[for you have all you'll ever need
within you]
I'm always here
to lend whatever hand I can
to help you through the bad times
you've touched me
and for that, no words
can ever thank you enough
:)
