blade and scabbard

By KittyStryker

you

are a
knife

boldly
i watch you
rip
into my skin
my soul
with the language
of
love

your tongue
and teeth
leave trails
of blood
and
affection

i
am a
sheath

and you cut me
from
the inside

out

So many proverbial knives have cut many of us from the inside in such a way. Even when the blade has lost the scabbard the permanent scars remain. I loved this. It is an excellent piece of work. :)

::shivers:: raw love right there, bravvo. So beautifully written in such a small amount of words as well.
