my heart, a flower

By KittyStryker

i can taste
on your naked chest
the fragile pale petals
of narcissus, freshly blooming

the aroma
of new beginnings
delicately scenting your hair
reminds me
of gentle breezes
pleasures discovered
in the rebirth
of a new world
green with life
and living

it must be spring
slowly waking
within my blood
for i
want nothing more
than to tumble in the grass
laughing and kissing you
caring for nothing
but this one moment

i want to spin with you
until we fall to the earth
exhausted from our giddiness

i want to slumber together
under
the newborn moon
