Good for You Solely
By maddin foxxxy
You told somebody
that now life
could breath
side by side
with you.
And that when
you kiss her,
you can tell
you love her
when you really do.
I said that
it was good
the way you
don't need to
talk to me anymore.
And that you left
the past with me
because we had become
in better company
forevermore.
You said now
it was "quiet",
perhaps you meant
"peaceful"--
who knows?
And how it is that
still I hear that
music....
that strangely comes
and goes.
I said it was good
that you had
managed to find a way
to place fire
to all those letters.
And when you did,
(though I didn't know),
I swear I felt
I could perhaps find (like you)
a way to make life better.
The years go too fast,
and too slow to catch on,
I have learnt
a way for me
to embrace cold.
Wrapped in my world,
lonely, but free,
dancing to sounds
of piano rushes
(as only things to hold).
And you said it was good
to be so far away
and to touch
life...
now in different ways.
I said it was good
to live life
as every second plays...
Good for you solely,
-- I still skip the days --

My modest comments can do nothing to justify the intricate beauty portrayed in this piece. I felt very connected to your words and emotion. Almost as though it were my song. Beautiful.
