Selfless

By Lylani

A brighter shade of clarity
Than any movie scene
You speak my thoughts as yours
And I forget that we are two
A duet of a monologue
With tears and open smiles
Never more comfortable in my own skin
Than when yours rests beside me

Perfection
Shines though the cracks in your heart
Faults like a diamonds
Unique in their beauty
From inside to out

I ask for nothing
Expect nothing
Happy just to know you
But you give me your  world
With uncompromising honesty
And I am humbled
