Connecting the Stars
By Gray Vision
As I gaze upon the sky
Under the veil of night,
And all the stars dance
In the glimmering moon light.
I can’t help but wonder
What it would be
like,
If everyone on earth
Would heed their advice.
That we’re all as equals
That we all shine
bright,
And not one star
Should try to steal,
Another’s spotlight.
If only this
were true
The world would be alright,
But we
live in a world,
A world fueled,
By spite.
As I gaze every night
Upon a weeping sky,
As stars fall,
And the others say,
Goodbye.
We all make a wish
Upon that falling star,
Before it lays to rest
In this foreign land,
Afar.
So every night,
Before I close my eyes,
I pay my respects
Before finally saying,
Good
night.

It's true cause a shooting star is a falling star and it's on those stars that we make wishes on. I'm glad you enjoyed this piece, thank you =)

An excellent ideology. If only, indeed. Sadly we're kept in fear of each other through the use of stereotyping etc., and people seem to see each others' differences instead of similarities. An interesting read, thank you for sharing :)
