Head full of stress,
Handful of anger,
Held in my chest,
Uphill struggle,
Blood,sweat,and tears,
Nothing to gain,
Everything to fear,-
-So rip my pictures from your wall,
Tear them down and burn them all,
Light the fire and walk away,
There's nothing left to say so,
Take the ashes from the floor,
Bury them to just make sure,
That nothing more is left of me,
Just bittersweet memories,-
-So, so you think you can tell,
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skies from pain,
Can you tell a green field,
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade,
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
And cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange,
A walk on part in the war,
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here,
We're just two lost souls,
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground,
What have we found,
The same old fears,
Wish you were here,-
No matter how good or bad you think your life is,wake up each day and be thankful for life.Someone somewhere else is fighting to survive.
