Raining Red

By SweetEvilness93

It rained today,
Not how it normally does,
Because this time,
It rain warm,
So very warm,
And bright red,

What should have been rain,
Was in fact,
Blood,
The blood of those who,
Are all dead,

It covered everything,
The roads,
Sidewalks,
And dripped down the trees,
Many people ran for cover,
As they screamed,

But,
I don't see it as a nightmare,
That has come true,
I see it as something new,
Exciting and beautiful,
Enchanting and inviting,
Something that doesn't happen,
Everyday,
A true miracle,

So,
Won't you come dance,
In the rain with me my friend,
Let our body get soaked,
And painted a lovely color red,

Not my type (HA)! the rain that is. Sounds like perhaps something right out of the tribulation period (no pun intended) heralding the End Times, but with a romantic twist by you - well done!
