A Prayer from Beyond Denial

By RubyXero

I may be small...
and I may be pointless...
to you.
But I still am.

As you struggle to fit together
these unmatching pieces
of this self-denied riddle
I smile and bask
for this distance has awakened
a soul that has slept
far too long.

My spirit cries RELEASE!
Release me from behind
this guarded wall!
Let me roam and explore
Share my beauty
while remaining a subtlety
my name unknown.
.........I long for the rain
marking my aura
and moonlit nights
reaching crimson.

Why waste our time on mediocrity?
These words don't flow
pointlessly
Forget.
Move forward.
Release me....
