grasp to give in

By denver nitze

how can green seem so clear?
crashing
smashing
foaming at the mouth
spitting the clear green
dancers hard to the sand
bodies crashing dancing
becoming one and drifting
back to the cold hard
master
titan
posiedan
cold and warm
inviting death with every last breath
breathing billions
saving none
keeping all
lost souls dancing one last time
caught in the current of his
undying grasp
slaves to his demand
neverending cycles
of life and death
breathe heavy on the rocks
like staring at the fire
her eyes are caught
held by his grasp
pulled to the call
the call of the ocean
the call of its death
slowly standing
slowly step
dance with the lost ones
feeling the pull
giving in and letting all
take her body
let her crash
soothe the child
lullaby
as our bodies smash
twisting and turning
caught in this flame
give in to the ocean
playing the eternal game
crashing and dancing
folding within
currents become her
as she lets them
