lost within

stripped of our voice, free, identity,
a nation fallen on our knees,
out of reach and out of touch,
lost within we don't have much.
silent whispers love for truth,
sky becomes the blackest blue.
quiet now the hunt is on,
need the fuel to carry on.
stare silence down, never to know,
tears crash through an empty soul.
ever lost and scared to be
a slave amongst slaves, yet all are free.
hair blows loose on the breeze,
praying softly on deaths knees.
lost within and lost without,
who will save us, or take us out?
