Falling in Love?

By Daughter_Of_The_Moon

Why do we fall in love?
does anyone know?
we all wish for a fairytale ending,
which we never get.
we always end up getting hurt,
and cry ourselves to sleep.
You miss him so much,
And hate yourself for it.
You don't know why he left
And wish he'd come back,
You begin to get depressed
And hate the whole world.
It would be a better place without you
So you decide.
And it is to late anymore.

Love is one of the deepest pleasures sometimes. Though, even the broken heart brings wisdom. People who fall in love over and over are some of the most special people, like The Beatles. I enjoyed this and know where you're coming from though. :)

Love is just a siren that will backstab most of us in the end. I think that two companions should be able to be lovers and best friends without all the 'love'. Of course, it would take two of like mind to pull it off. What a bitch, huh?

We fall in love because of some endorphin rush in our bodies! :) Anyway, a lot of girls could relate to your poem. Great job!

it's not the experience that's painful but the missing it that hurts

It isnt the end, that is importent. It is what you get on your trip there. Stop your little swim in the sea of nostalgia, or you will become blind to everything but that and yourself.... Exept for that I liked the poem
