Marb Reds and Fireflies
By hate_doll
The dog tries to eat
A stow-away cricket
As I ignite fireflies
On my tongue
It's lightning in your eyes
When I tell you
We'll see it all
Plans are
Unnecessary
Just like
The purple boas fluttering
Over my beaded smile
Cheshire grin, half-missing
I'm scanning
Infomercials
And cheap
Cigarette burned
Late-night porn on
The superhighway
Of your spine
It's nights like these
You pray you'll remember
In the morning

You took me to my past, a place where I could relax and not worry. Its just the little things that count in life. The smallest little memory could be the best one. I love your work.

Wow, this is so beautifully warped and abstract.. I gotta say one of my favourites that I've read of yours. it's abstract, yet wonderfully real, especially because of the last three lines, it's like you see the full picutre. Amazing work here.
