I dreamt of you last night
Felt the glow of your light
If only to have these moments never end
I lay upon this moonlit beach of angel’s tears
Let them draw out all the pain and fear
Smiling I know you are near
Even if you can never be here
In my dreams you can dance
We can live out a dreamscape romance
Free from the cruel of a world that never understood

Tears well up even as I dream
Down my face they stream
Breaking through the cracks of dreams
I feel reality as it screams-- I can’t be here too long
For soon it is the end of this song
Sleep can never come soon enough to me
Knowing this is the only place we can ever be
