The Patient
By God Is In The Rain
the patient is here,
did keep me waiting -
took weeks to appear,
since our last session.
let's begin then;
they sit kinda weird.
annoying again -
seems like a habit.
lips after drought,
teeth a tad off,
strong smell from mouth,
hair like dead straw.
eyes too apart,
the nose is too big,
more abstract art -
than human being.
wrinkles on face,
fat in the thighs,
walk without grace,
and - talk without wit.
talents are naught,
humor just cringe,
attempts for thought,
but, mind is too dim.
not very brave;
shakes upon speech.
easily cave -
under slight pressure.
working morals;
could not even hit -
the lowest goals;
so - couch potato.
romantic past?
lets put "just friends",
no love did last -
none would have chance.
in closing remarks -
one simple question;
one too much ask -
of this one "subject".
just how come this blight -
dares not to question,
what gives them right,
to waste everyone's time!?
they missed every chance,
ruined what they could,
or given the chance -
it's clear that they would.
and so I conclude,
the "thing" i have here -
a life a screwed,
isn't worth living -
so please,
prepare the
firing
squad.

The blight of ever-diminishing cares, lent to the absence of any meaning, further demeaning a life surrendered to mecreodrity...Am I more of a menace than a man? Is a man anymore, even what I am? A beautiful, if not chilling work of how depression rots from the inside out... Thank you for sharing-- Favoriting this.
