Night's Evolution
By rosemaiden
The warm forest floor beneath my feet
As I walk through the misty trees
The light that shines is dim and
golden
It touches the leaves and branches it has chosen
Light
quickly fades to night
The bright covered leaves now turn to moonlight
The wind is cold just ever so slightly
The sounds of animals moving
quietly
Lost in the dark, losing my mind
I look to the moon for
a pathway to find
The moon, she slowly fades
As night lifts the
mist makes its way
Covering the forest with smokey gray clouds
Devouring as much as it allows
The golden light is back to night's
dismay
To feed the trees and start a new day

I like this place, in the misty trees, lost in the dark, losing my mind...allowing the moon to guide me. I need to go there now...

Perfect, and not a werewolf in sight! Thanks so much for this vision of twilight in the woods, and then another day's dawning.
