I Miss You (meant to be a spoken word piece)

By anakronistik_me

I miss you.
I miss you far much more than I ever should.
I miss you a like a stack of paper misses its wood.
I miss you like you should.
Miss me I mean.
I miss you more than stingers stuck in skin miss bumblebees.
I miss you like the leaves miss the mid-may mornings.
The days they were vibrant green and full of what they should be.
I miss you like you should be here.
I miss you like you never left.
Like school is ending and there are only moments to spare.
I miss you like the nights when my hands crashed into your hips
missed the days your soul crashed into my lips.
I miss you like the rain misses the ocean when it crashes into the sand.
I miss you more than you will ever know and more than I can stand.
I miss you harder than these fists could ever crash into these walls.
I miss you harder than these heartbreaks could ever crash into these falls.
And I wish I missed you more.
Maybe then you’d turn around.
Maybe then you’d see.
I was always meant for you.
Even if you weren’t meant for me.
