Paul

By Gray Vision

There stood Paul
At the Wall Street mall,
There stood Paul
Glancing form wall To wall
Not a blink or a wink
Paul stands tall
Not even for a second
Paul never smiles at all
But there stood Paul
All proud and all
For he stopped three robbers
That day,
All big, tall and small
Now all there's left to say is
Ata boy Paul
Good job today.

I wrote this piece as a tribute to the guards who stand emotionless all day, human statues as they are sometimes called.

A nice tribute. I think it must take a great deal of dedication to do what they do. Scholar

I agree and despite the fact that they don't show any emotion most the time, I still smile and wish them well. I know the human in them appreciates it, thank you very much for dropping by and commenting on this piece =)
