Flip of the Coin

By RubyXero

I wish.
         Wish........
Oh how I wish, for a rainy day.
One to soothe my troubled spirit.
For what now is,  the beginning
of the end.

And I'm already missing,
all the days that we shall no longer
have             you forgotten?
You claimed "True Love" with me.
All to just throw me to the curb
at the first sign
of succumbed freedom.

Throwing everything we've worked for
on chance.

Hopefully
fate will be kind
to at least one of us.
