Oservant Shadow
By RubyXero
I waited. right outside her door.
Listening to the rumaging
around
the corner.
Waiting... feeling the anger
and grudge in the sounds
of forceful movements.
Debating whether I'd rather
emerge myself...
or just remain the
observant shadow.
Silent yet supportive.
A neutral party
in all things contradictory.

There's nothing there, I checked. Nothing but the wind, so nothing to see.

..to refrain from judgment and observe with objectivity.. can really create the right conditions for growth for both parties... a sentiment wonderfully told.

There was something sweet in this poem. I visualized watching and listening to my children around the corner. Thank you for sharing. =)
