A(new) Dawn Approaches

By RubyXero

For every step of pain,
I am healing...
For every moment gained
I am feeling.

Moved above this wallowing grave.
Baudelaires' words
affection and misery.
Soaring so high
above feigned heavens
and mysteries sought yet unknown...

For every single wound they've inflicted,
each beautiful drop of blood shed
I am still sustaining.
For every time I see the unthinkable
or heed their whispered guidance
I am slowly believing...

Causing mayhem beside bright angels
and uttering hushed sweet prayers with demons
Truly a balance in time.
Before the preaching pulpits
of definitions and sin
Far above recited words.
When one can worship and progress
Based solely on connections...feeling...

For every thoughtless advice you spew
the enmity and hollow emotion,
no longer will I give in to you.
No longer hiding... with this facade.
Now every day holds an exciting beginning
a brightness no longer repelled.
Shedding that withered skin and stepping out anew...
Now. ............ I am becoming.

ah Baudelaires words or indeed inspiring. I am Guessing you mean Charles of course. If not forgive me for being mistaken. Besides that I really liked this. Makes you look at the positive in the negative. I believe every human needs all emotions in order to operate.
