If I could choose my last breath

By Lylani

I never knew a love like this before
That sees no telling of time
Hears no ticking of clocks
Exists for existing sake
In existence it brings joy...

... and sorrow

As you leave
My love remains
Your absence breaks me
it is a pain exceeding all others

But to glimpse your smile
For a single moment
brings my whole world back to life
For my dear, I love you
Though I know you do not feel the same
I dream of you
Wish you back by my side
So I may kiss your sweet soft lips
Falling asleep in your arms ones last time
taking my last breath in true happiness
