bury the dagger

By denver nitze

luck is the jester
dancing through the gates of exasperation
just in time to choke
on the pearl of an oyster.
i am the shadow that hides your fears
cloaking them
stroking them
choking your demons to destroy them in carrion dreams.
i am the rock
salvation
save you from dismal
desperate aggravations
given by the jester on his plate
of juggled fortunes
i am the dark light at the end of the tunnel
waltz with me
as i caress your skeletons
as i
bury the dagger
deep
within pain.

Hmm. I stared at the last word and though She-Art. Anyways, lovely write. You have quite an intriguing mind. Something about Jesters always saddened me...
