  • "Just an FYI on that second line I'm not sure the repeated line within it was intended. As for the rest, a super interesting read. The format kept me jumping from line to line which I think added a nice touch. Write on! :)"

  • "What amazing visuals throughout and the weight of it just clamped down harder and harder from each stanza to the next. Those last 3 lines say so much, I'm not sure how to give this the justice it deserves. Very nicely done :)"

  • "I didn't think I was going to enjoy this after reading the first few lines but then it transformed into something I wasn't expecting and I thought it was a neat idea for a write. Nice flow throughout and descriptions you used made the reader feel like they were there. Write on!"

  • "Super sad. I think a lot of us have known someone who has, or watched someone actively, self destruct slowly, one thread at a time. So much wasted potential, if only those around that person had noticed before intervention became meaningless. An interesting read, thanks for sharing :)"

  • "This is something that I can really relate to at this point in my life. Paying for the mistakes I have made, a vision of where I'd like to be but if I think it in more than a whisper it could evaporate. And as I'm attempting to get there navigating all of the road blocks. And it would be so easy to sink to a different level but for some that would be worse than not achieving the dream. Well put, write on!"

  • "Wow this was something I think a lot of us feel about ourselves but aren't brave enough to say it out loud. It's super tough to acknowledge these things about oneself but it doesn't make it any easier to change the things about ourselves that we literally despise. Especially when the reactions to those things have an affect on others. Sadly written but nicely done and thank you for sharing."

  • "The most dangerous game haha, love it. This isn't a topic you see written about often. Some people say you gain a person's life force if you eat them. Survival of the fittest in so many ways. I'm not sure I'm ready for long pig but the apocalypse could come any day so I better start sharpening my machete. Thanks for sharing!"

  • "These situations are rough, especially if one (or both) are resigned to perpetuate the cycle. There's lots of ponds out there, though the amount and quality of fish in each may vary. Maybe try out some new bait! Interesting read, thank you for sharing :)"

  • "Miss you and your pen man. Loved the conflicting concepts in here. When the world is a bitter place we find our escape, create a better reality. It doesn't make the world change, but maybe it shifts our perspective just enough to put up with it for a while. Come back and write sometime."

  • "Man you packed a lot of visuals into a semi-small space here and made me feel like I was reading a small part of something epic. I thought your word choice was excellent and the flow was gentle. Interesting read, is there more to the story? Isn't there always?"

  • "Wow short but to the point. This paints a seriously crushing landscape. Sometimes those little girls have such huge hearts that are so full of love that they burst out into the world and infect everyone they touch with joy, though. And often, when that happens, the world loves them in return. Maybe? Thank you for sharing your pain."

  • "This read like being on trial for being human. Hints at a struggle that is not yet finished, and future fights to come. Maybe a prisoner swap between rivals? I liked that it was vague this way. Interesting read."
