Strong fighter

By SilentDreamer

Ask me why I stand here now,
my face pondering this trial.

No way will I let this slip away,
covered up by fancy words.

I dare ya to think their fight is fair,
when I have all the facts right here.

So fine the time has come,
the top has taken it now.

My words mean little now,
but don't falter.

My fight will still be strong as ever.

It was a poem that I just ran across while cleaning my backpack out from last year. It had to do with a thing the Post had init than. It was called A Hearing Without Being Heard, I don't remember what it was about now.

This read like being on trial for being human. Hints at a struggle that is not yet finished, and future fights to come. Maybe a prisoner swap between rivals? I liked that it was vague this way. Interesting read.
