  • "There are a million reasons to be depressed. If its clinical depression it could simply be biochemical, but on the other hand it could be your lying to yourself about something like a secret you keep from yourself, meaning through suppression of desire you have hexed yourself. Maybe you would feel better if you where really bad in a constructive kind of way . Bring out your demons and play with them if you have the inner strength to keep the little fuckers on a leash so they dont ruin your life like they are now all swept under the rug. I like your beautiful red hair and sweet eyes. Write something dangerous. There's really nothing sexier than a dangerous woman wo writes devastatingly hot poems about her depravity. Do you have to pretend that not being wild and deeply centered wont help. Do you tell yourself you have to be good when you know you dont always wanna be. Your poems are tears of despair; why not turn them to fire and lust. Write about what you want instead of whats missing. Extreme honesty will help you propel yourself forward and without full courage of admission of your true most sacred darkness you can never find your light. When you call your self suicidal secrecy it not a secret. Is there something about the idea of suicide besides death that appeals to you ? Maybe you should perform a fantasy suicide for some one special who could assist or watch you and tell you how beautiful you look and kiss you so ever tenderly as you pretend to fade into midnight. xo I think you would love that. Then you could return free. Death is about loosing ones self. Why not lose your self in a phantasmagoria of lust and really die to this grey flat world, at least for awhile. ;)"

  • "Very good point, YPP. People usually try to make themselves feel better by pointing out how messed up someone else is while ignoring their own faults. I'd rather be a freak than a hypocrite."

  • " I can't really relate to the feeling expressed here about being an outcast, or freakish, or even mentally unstable. Somehow I've always known myself deep inside, and made all of my choices with the certainty that I was willing to accept the consequences. When I went through the lowest point of my life, realizing that the one I chose to give my full measure of love to had cast it and me away, I truly wanted to die. It would have been easy for me to do that, but there was one problem, I still care too much about the people who care about me. I would not bring myself to hurt them, even if it meant living in constant pain with virtually no hope of change. I gave my love and I live with the consequences, but I will not hurt others to make it easy on myself. Suicide isn't hurting yourself, it's hurting others. Maybe I'm also arrogant enough to be willing to be broken, but still not willing to give up. I do agree that the majority of the world is crazy, but I refuse to ride with them on the way to the cliff. "

  • "...but attempting to clarify that line does one reach a definitive absolute...? human beings created the concept of death. kinda makes it lack a solid foundation considering the known track record of the species haha. anyways, tragic write."

In your line about "she sees someone just like her" I got the impression that you were equating yourself to an image, as opposed to a reality. The more I think about it, the deeper it becomes, forever falling into the void between life and it's outward perceptions. It's sometimes more comforting to exist in this halfway world rather than to experience truth. I appreciate this work."
