It Was Just A Lovers Quarrel

By suicidalsecrecy

Toxic
Poisonous
Venomous words
Spewing pollution as I flick my tongue

Dumbfounded look upon your face

(Words cannot return to you once they depart your lips
Like fireflies in twilight my words flicker through space)

Stinging
Haunting
Heavy words
Stabbing at you knife point to flesh

Dazed look in your eyes

Quaking
Throbbing
Ferocious words
Infiltrating your every fiber, permeating beneath your feeble surface

Find you cowering in a dark corner

Shrieking
Howling
Troubling sounds
Erupting from within your meek frame

Stabs at my heart for a brief moment in time

Unapologetic
Defiant
Deliberate action
As I abandon you, forsake you and your meager existence
