Live or Let Die?

By suicidalsecrecy

Bleed these scarlet laments until I pass
Shed this blood
Drips drop until the last
Fall down
Weakened, withered, weary and wavering

Slice this cut until I bleed
Live or let die
Pay heed or let bleed
Repeat until the scars cover the body
Shed this skin
This fragile skin
Expose me
Peel away these layers
See what lies beneath

Lock me up and throw away the key
For I don’t belong in this life
Outside of this place with family
Live life full throttle
Live my life by the bottle
Each sip is an escape
From the feelings my mind creates

This was chilling and I must admit made my skin crawl, but in a good way. Great write.
