Coffee stains the face
By maddin foxxxy
My sorry eyes
won't finish to explain
the way I watch
this broken home again
inside of me
this is what i don't feel
taking over me
this is what i built
falling under
me
If there's a way around
to see you
the way that i used to
show me again
the view i let it fade
the soul you let it change
and while i have someone else to hold
i still can feel the cold
I draw a picture of you
coffee stains your face
I write a song of you
my voice it starts to break
"to hold you is a dream
to see you an illusion
but when i hear you coming I know
it's not you
it's not us
it's this wind that comes and says
'hello' "
don't want you anymore
don't want this to grow
don't feel you anymore
it's the denial phase
forevermore
In my mind
you are wearing
the last thing you ever wore
In my mind
I release you
so why won't you just go ?
