Fuck you. (an ode to love)

By stuart_pid

Fuck you
for what you do.
For all the pain you put me through.
For every ounce of energy
pretending we were meant to be.
For every wasted day
awaiting changes with despondency.
For endless days
and restless nights.
For long and loud obnoxious fights.
For all you say.
Your wicked ways.
For twisted games you make me play.
For dirty secrets,
silent treatments.
Every known, exploited weakness.
All the lies
and useless cries.
The frigid look behind your eyes.
The rage inside
I couldn't hide.
I swear to god I really tried.
But still I love you
tried and true.
From inside, outside,
through and through.
I don't know why but this I do,
I always will
so fuck me too.

I always liked this one...enticing beginning...the perfect ending... bitter, but a pleasure to read. (and the hidden message in your name: without art, all that's left is stupid.)

Hmm, yeah, I pretty much have to agree with the rest of them on this one it's great. I really liked the first ten lines, they seem to hit the spot in my heart where memories occur, the instability of Love. I give it a Ten. Scholar

Ahh, the great tale of consequence .. standing upon the teeder-todder of emotion, where the reward of happiness slightly out-wieghs the outcome of saddness. From this - is where a sliver of love is kept. Tremendous write. Daniel
