A storm sent ill
Defences fell
Mutated cell
Spreading hell
Above a heart
Beating beating
Over lungs
Breathing breathing

A body rode out
While wicked weather scathed
Cruel nature was braved
Beneath the war zone stayed
A strong heart
beating beating
Warm lungs
Breathing breathing

The air is calm and still
Over a landscape of ink
A deeper beauty ....
......Don't you think?
Courageous heart
A steady beat
Thankful lungs
Breathe deep
