Requiem (Act I - Prelude)

By FearlessDragon

My bow a razor's edge
Upon a violin of flesh

Streaks of rain descend
Each drop a fragile note

Conductor's staff of scarlet twirls
Keep structured the ensemble

Frantic muffled hums
My quartet of weeping cellos

Exasperated huffs
Creep in the weary woodwinds

These eyes of blackened clefs
Guide all the scales between

I actually read it as self harming. And the ref to music as the relief that the person would feel but it could also be the joy of inflicting pain on others also. Which ever, it was very cleverly done! (Like your picture ;-) )

Very musical and reminds me of when I played the clarinet and piano, never mastered either one I'm afraid, cheers! Recommend something Wagnerian for your next gore fest.
