Wistful Necessity
By Strataic
I was refusing to
Scar this night
In words.
But temptation
Came...
To me.
At first knowing
You...
Became enough.
And..
I lost
My watch.
There...
Subduing tingle
Felt feelings...
At best.
Emotions...
Combusted.
Wheel barrow mixtures
Spewed sorry.
When actuality
Forbids pearl-bound
Dandelion threads...
Chronospheres
shift as
Movement goes.
I could not tame it.
Alongside
rivers...
Caterpillar faces.
Escaping me, Through
Faraway
places...
My skin
Began to...
Touch
Without
care.
Wishing for
Your hips...
Just to snuggle.
Into forever...
And love days.
Yours sincerely...
I beseech.

Very unique, very deserving of the poem of the day. I loved it. The words were all right where they needed to be to come together as a piece of art. You have talent.

graceful movement induced by emotions and thoughts as i read... like watching swallows swoop and turn in and out of predawn lights and shadows... quite affecting and lovely in its tone and feel
