The Weald's Release
By rosemaiden
I am just a little girl in the forest
Constantly wandering with no
purpose
Trees go by leering
"Why is she here, does no
one want her?"
Its not that i am not wanted
Just no one
has wanted me yet
I wander till darkness breaks
I then
sit, ponder, and wait
Wait and hoping that the path
Will
reveal itself at last
Nothing
Darkness growing
No one wanting
Nothing showing
I collapse nothing left
I close my eyes and take a breath

This is unbelievable. I haven't visited in a while but i'm glad I came back to this. Love the tree personification, the breakdown into beat poetry, nicely done :)
