Celestial Maiden

By rosemaiden

Oh Mistress Moon how luminous
You shine through the pain that has scarred your surface

Looking down upon us all
How instead of you we do not shine when we fall

Oh fair Moon bless us all
With the beauty from your sorrow

And be our key to the haunting night
Until it breaks away and is taken by light
