Slepnir, the Immortal War Horse

By HeadpatSlut

His blood of giants, Gods, and steeds-

Alfadir is his master-

Victorious war is all he needs-

An Omen of Disaster.

A massive horse, at sixteen hands-

                                                 When measured from the ground-

He gallops mythic, wondrous lands-

With thunderous hooves that pound.

With speed and power like no other-

With not one beast to near him-

Bloodthirsty Fenris, his half-blood brother-

So even dragons fear him.

This mighty steed, with steel hooves-

Not four, but numbered eight-

Through eight dimensions that he moves-

All nine worlds await.

Almost seems like an Apocalyptic horse to be mentioned in later verse perhaps. Or do we get the End Times Piecemeal perhaps? - Cheers!
