Pity F*ck

By charliebrown

Do not over estimate my ability to forgive
nor my ability to forget your transgressions,
from the ashes and charcoal rises the phoenix,
but, I just a man of heart and regressions.

I ponder as I sipe from my pannikin full,
a concoction of revenge and your pain,
an eye for a tooth and a tooth for an eye,
you sidestep the truth again.

My animosity slows me to a stop,
appease me not with your useless muck,
put on your garb and gather your dignity,
I need not you nor your pity fuck.
