When Death Knocks

By Gray Vision

Frustration,
Swelling,
Burning within me
This gut wrenching,
Gut twisting feeling
Burning,
Devouring
Like acid upon naked skin,
The feeling,
This unexplainable feeling
Is it anger?
Hatred
Is it anxiety?
Animosity
This unshakeable feeling,
This uneasy feeling
Will it ever leave me?
Decomposing,
Rotting,
Decaying,
Its death
I can feel it,
I can feel it in my bones
Someone just died,
Someone
Close to me.

a hauntingly bleak piece - at once a fascinating journey through the mind

That was a great write, I used to get this kind of feeling a lot, and unfortunately I was right about it, well done, described that sense perfectly. Scholar
