Valentine Day

A day for couples,
Both far and near.
A day for love ones,
You’ve met throughout the years.
For some,
A day of joy, laughter and cheers,
For others,
A day of grief, sorrow and tears.
A day full of empty promises and unspoken ideas,
A day full of empty wishes, blame and who cares.
A day love ones thrive on chocolate bunnies,
And romantic ideas.
A day others shun,
Due to previous years.
For those who’ve never had,
Another utter the phrase,
“I love you.”
It’s okay,
For it’s only a matter of time,
Before it comes true.
And those who’ve been fortunate to hear
Those words,
Who cares
This poem wasn’t meant for you.

Ya I don't know how it came to this, I guess the inital thought behind this was that, his death was a sad one to begin with so this idea of love was developed to sort of mask the idea of the dead fellow? I don't know, just my imagination running wild lol, but anyways thank you for dropping by =)
