What a Day
By Gray Vision
Today's the day,
I turn thirteen
Today's
the day,
I become a teen
All the fun and games,
Are coming to an end
I wish,
I were
twelve again.
I peered through my window
At
the darkening sky,
I peered at that bright never ending
Light of time,
The sun's going down,
The
moon's setting in
I know ill never be the same again.
The clock strikes twelve
I'm now thirteen,
Its twelve now
And I'm officially a teen
I
wish, I really wish,
I were twelve again
But the
day
Has come to an end,
Knowing,
I’ll
never see twelve again.
What a day, what a
day
As the sun goes down,
What a day, what a day
I can't help but frown,
The crickets are screeching
The
frogs are croaking,
What a day, what a day,
I
can’t help But frown.
