Writer's Block

I am giving up on writing for I have lost the will
Or maybe I’m doing it because I’ve lost the skill
I remember when I first started I did it for the thrill
But now when I write it feels like I’m running up hill
I used to write when I was depressed so my blood wouldn’t spill
But now writing is like cutting a diamond with a plastic drill
Its like trying to stab this knife through a bullet proof windowsill
It feels like all my thoughts have stopped and become locked
God damn it I hate it when my poetic flow becomes blocked
