Bundled up in a blanket of fear
Worrying the ones I hold dear
Pain soaked clothes and sorrow dripping hair
All I can do is lay
here
The past that haunts me
Abuse, death, changes, teasing
Through my skin every day it is bleeding
The black skin i
wear
Comforts me and covers up the despair
One tear feels
like an ocean
I long for that magic potion
To conceal all of
these emotions
My skin is transparent
In this establishment
Picking up pieces for others
While my pain is smothered
Only to resurface again
When I am alone for no one to mend
