I walk on broken shadows pathways to the darkest light

Cloaked in the darkness of human souls we call the night

Losing my sense of reality more and more each day

Because I’m only filled with sadness no happiness or play

I am a broken soul now just releasing silent tears

While trying to convince myself that I have no fears

My demons and I are intertwined like that of fossilized vines

So they edge me on to help them take over weaker minds

I feel my body dying as they fight harder to be released

And I know it wont be long before I lose control of the beast

But know when that happens all humanity will silently cease
