Sugar-Rimmed Wine Glass [t]Rip

By BeautifulCalamity

Dawn,
The enchanting flicker of the
almost emptied sun.
Pouring out faceless souls
to flourish the gray earth...
and make all that is true
known.

Where has the sonne gone?

Away to diamond days,
to be loved and watched..
stared at by garnet,
and burned by emerald
gaping eyes...
So bright, So alive.

When you pass me,
A sin tears through my flesh...
A sin to cradle all wide-eyed demons.

..but you were always so soft,
and sweet smelling.. like envy
collected itself at your whitest pillow
to greet you at sunrise
"Hello My Beauty"

Now I have you, as I lusted..
this is quite the parallel,
an ode to neon lights (I'll never see)
and naked forms tempting me..

..look at me..

{Look}

Crooked glances and clumsy-versed
speeches of regret the next morning..
Dusk,
our embrace ends with a bitter smile
and this blood (ours),
filling my mouth,
at this cause.
Speechless, I am left..
--to watch these angels,
laced in bondage and fading guilt..
as they kneel, and repent for
(their) sins..

no man in sight, only holy ground..
only saintly ghosts are found.

I mumble spells,
curved and delirious.
C R A V I N G
....
I suppose they never made
much sense to you anyways
....
and as those fairies arch their
backs to howl at your death,
I hope with all I am,
that you will hear their cries forever..

Perhaps you've done this to yourself...

But I find myself suffocated
in confusion,
never let my ink slip again.
Never...

Nightfall,
Stars rise to sing mischief
around the childless moon,
So lonely..
So morose..
.trying.
Time never mattered near you,
its pace too quick for our own..
time pushes and pulls on our weak,
bare arms.. naked porcelain painted dry.

So...
Sleep Beautifully,

my constant candle
...
my bright lover
...
my own
..

For tomorrow comes at its own time,
and let ours be now..
