Blind to the truth

He was always there for you
Always comforted you in his own way
Just seeing him always made you smile
And brought some shine to your dark day
You sometimes would like another
If only for awhile
But then you would see him
And be confused all over again
You think you have fallen in love
With a great guy you met one day
But your feelings for him
Are always in the way
You feel so guilty
For wanting to see him once again
Then look at who your with
And begin to cry again
Why can't I just love one of them
Instead of being torn in two
Yet for some odd reason
It always comes down to you
Having to decide your life away
And break someone's heart
In the most horrible way
Don't you just feel so smart
If you could just get your feelings sraight
It wouldn't be like this
And you wouldn't be making him wait
For you to realize
That he is the one who will always be there
Of course unless you wait too long
And then it'll be too late.
